Monchhichi was never truly gone, but now he's got a new, trendy look. Perfect as a cuddly toy, collector's item, and fashion statement. His thumb can go in and out of his mouth.
This Monchhichi is 20 cm tall.
Monchhichi was born in Japan in 1974, the brainchild of Mr. Sekiguchi. He combined a soft plush monkey with a cute vinyl face, complete with a thumb for sucking. The very first Monchhichis were twins: a boy and a girl. The plush monkeys quickly became a huge hit in Japan and have since captured the hearts of young and old worldwide.
